Each rug is carefully woven and tightly bound, meaning you have a durable rug that will brighten up your home for years to come. Originally a traditional craft technique common in India, the Hindi word, chindi, lends its meaning to the word "rags". They would take scraps of different fabric types and colors and roughly but securely weave them together using traditional hand weaving. The process has remained the same and as such each rug is unique and no two rugs are alike (please note you will receive a multi colored rug however colors may vary slightly from the listing photo!) Care Instructions These can be vacuum cleaned on a low setting spot cleaned or hand washed with cold water. We would advise against machine washing the Chindi rug.
