This 11.5" (29 cm.) dinner plate looks good whether on the dining table or hanging on the wall. A school of mackerel (familiar to me from the Norwegian seas) is milling around a blue hole, and swirls of water bubble up behind them. The back has two holes for hanging, when a string or a wire is attached (not included).

All my pots are wheel thrown and hand decorated by me. I don't use any stamps or stencils (with a couple of exceptions), everything is painted or drawn freehand. The colors are ceramic stains mixed with a white slip (liquid clay) that I make myself. All the decorating is done while the pots are dried, but unfired. After the first firing (bisque), they get a coat of clear glaze and fired a second time to 2200°F (cone 6, or 1204°C).

My pots are food safe, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

A note about shipping cost: It's pretty much impossible to predict cost before knowing where in the world the piece is going, how many pieces will be shipped together, and how big the box will be. I usually ship USPS, which charges extra if the box is over a certain size, not just weight. I double-box everything, so the box might have to be rather large! So I err on the side of caution, but if I charge more than $2 over the actual cost, I refund.
