Unused but laundered to remove fold stains, this oddball towel is a depiction of a recipe by Isaak Walton on how to cook pike - " a dish too good for any but anglers or very honest men."

Spectacular MCM graphics, a bit macabre with the pan collecting the blood flowing out of the pike in the process described.

Madge Knight signed for Liberty of London
Pure Irish Linen

Deep Dartmouth green with red and black details.

20" x 30" a generous size but a real conversation piece when hung or framed!
