One of my very strange discoveries, this raw brass dog figure was designed and signed by the French artist Pol Rab in 1920s. I just found a small bag with these dogs in our stock, they were obviously used to be silver plated and made into pins (se the photocopy I enclose here). I have the raw material. I knew I had to research this dog a bit becuse I thought he would be a famous dog, reminds me of my own dog too. He turned out to be the French cartoon dog Rac. So feel free to make a hole and make a dog tag or use as it is?
Note the dogs are not polished and quite tarnished, tha last photo shows one I cleaned, but I leave it up to you to polish or not. Since these are old they also look old I am afraid, but that is how they are.

The figure measures 30x55mm.
