Beautiful and unique vintage starburst or snowflake brooch made with lovely layered stampings that look like a gold tone spiky flower made from matt and shiny vintage brass .

The brooch measures just under 2" across and features a pretty clear white foiled prong set rhinestone in the middle of several layers. The first layer is a matt spokey flower, then a shiny flower, then pink rhinestones on spokes, and lastly a really neat atomic burst with the rounded tips on the bottom stamping.

The matching earrings are screw back and measure 1 1/8".

This set probably was made in the 1960's or earlier. This set is well made from real vintage brass stampings with a lot of dimension. It is completely riveted together. All rhinestones are prong set and pretty. None of the pieces of this demi parure are signed . There isn't a makers mark and the condition is good to excellent. All blemishes are very tiny mild patina marks.

I love the sparkly white and dark pink rhinestones. They really complement the shiny and soft of the brass.
