Named after the Ancient Greek moon goddess Selene, Selenite is often associated with the
moon’s energy. It has been used for centuries by Native Americans, Egyptians, and Mayans
with the general belief that it provided protection from negative and harmful entities.
Today, this mineral is believed to clear negativity and transform it into a positive, loving
energy, while cleansing the aura. It is said to cleanse and charge other crystals, as well.

PLEASE NOTE:
Selenite is a form of Gypsum, a sulfate mineral, which is soft and water soluble. Therefore, the best
way to care for Selenite is to not get it wet. Repeated exposure to water will cause harm
to the mineral.

This necklace is handcrafted with a natural, smooth polished, round Selenite crystal suspended
on a sterling silver or 14kt gold fill chain.
