Vintage Book Sculpture, Cowboys and Indians, Wild West

Unique book sculpture displaying the classic folklore stories of the Southwest, altered into a new form to display the great black and white drawings.

Book entitled Hunters Blaze the Trails, is a vintage 1959 Childrens Press book, by Edith McCall with Illustrations by Carol Rogers.

The cover has been taken off, leaving the binding of the main book intact. The pages with the drawings have been cut from the book and placed to display their images in this unique design. Pages are glued to hold the shape and form. The book is then adhered to a painted black canvas for a secure bond.

The images represent the classic heros of American Folklore that include, Davy Crockett, Bill Cody, Buffalo Bill, Kit Carson, and Fitzpatrick.

Measures 14" w x 11" H x 6 " D.

Due to age of book, some discolorment and wear and tear is visible. The most notable spot is on the front cover, due to some tape. This is visible in the 3rd image, but is covered by the pages, so it is not that noticable unless looking for it.

Will be shipped within 3 days of receiving payment via USPS.
