for your viewing pleasure, I present this vintage clock by Haid, circa 1950s-60s~

It has fantastic Eames Era style with a richly hued solid wood case (either teak or walnut, I believe) and brass findings. The mechanical movement is marked Kienzle, and it has kept time beautifully for the week or so that I've had it. This came from the local estate of a woman who moved here from Germany. Very little info is available online about the maker other than there was a Wilhelm Haid of Pfullingen who was an active clock-maker around 1965. The Kienzle five jewel movement can be dated to 1958.

the wood face measures 6.25" in diameter and stands approx. 6.75" tall including the brass legs. It has a slim profile, measuring about 1.75" deep from the side.

It's in excellent, beautiful condition with a lovely natural patina to the brass, most prominent on the legs and hour hand. You can also see the remnants of a small sticker on the back corner, as well as a bit of rust on the +/- metal slide piece exposed on the back.

the back of the movement is marked:

Teilstrich = 10^s in 24^h
