Vibrant teal cable knit afghan in a large scale pattern with long fringe. A vintage throw blanket for couch or bed; rustic cottage style for the modern home.

A cozy blanket as warm and homey as your favorite knit sweater. Bright teal blue yarn knit into a large scale pattern of cables and basket weave. The solid color and fringe mean this afghan can suit the porch of your woodsy cabin or the grey wool couch in your industrial modern loft. I love practical pieces that suit seemingly opposite design styles.

It is hard to get a measurement off this beauty since it's stretchy and slightly rolled at two of the edges. Laying flat and unstretched, it measures approximately 70 inches across and 70 inches long (the length including the 5" or so of fringe at each end). For reference, the cable (seen most clearly in photo 2) measures just about 4 inches across.

Condition is generally very good, with the only notable flaw being a fair amount of linty pilling on the surface, the kind that you can easily pick away at. It's a medium thickness, knit with thick yarn on large needles. Fold it at the end of your queen bed, or bundle it on the couch for movie watching.
