this is a stunning 1930s dress. I believe it is very early 1930s based on the length and style. Sheer organdy black and a lovely almost oriental pattern of flowers done in pinks, turquoise, yellows etc. the colors are vivid. I'm sure they were probably at one time more bright. I love the sleeves on this. poet flouncy sleeves with a narrow arm hole which rests 3/4" or upper arm depending on how you want to wear it. This has lovely tailored seams and details including pintucks on the shoulders. (not clipped on mannequin but a bit more of a waist than showing in photos...still flapper all the way!) I picture this worn with a black cloche style hat. length is still shorter than those by around 1933. also in a very wearable modern size!

and then it has an amazing Bakelite neck tie detail which is in perfect cond. with no missing rhinestones.

Condition- Excellent condition. a couple invisible seam repairs were done from the inside with nearly if not exact thread color and period thread. there are some frayed seams inside which are to be expected. no tears, holes, or stains could be found. This came out of a private collection, previous owner was a vintage lover who cared for her garments.

the wrinkles have been steamed out of it. It's going to be stored folded, and obviously shipped so just steam it with your iron as needed without touching the fabric.

bust-up to 42"
waist-about 34-35" (17.5-18" across) but you'll want a little wiggle room
hips-approx 44"
length-about 44"

I can double check the measurements if you need me to, I measure flat and didn't want to pull on the fabric much, but this has a little bit of give to it.

International customers message for priority rate with insurance. recommended.
