The French version of a Kodak Brownie Starlet camera including the Flash D.

A great little set this Kodak Brownie Starlet with the Flash D on the side which was made especially for this camera.
The Starlet was made in 1956, a little plastic point and shoot camera using 127 film.
The American version has a switch on the bottom where you can choose whether you added a black and white or a color film. On the French version, that switch on the bottom is the one you have to use when it is either sunny or clouded.

The camera is in good condition except that the top plastic layer is coming loose. The third photo shows that. Easy to fix I think.
The shutter works, the film spool turns and because 127 film is still available, this lovely camera is not a collectible only but can still be used.
The flash has a bulb but I wonder if it still works after all these years...

The camera comes in its original leather camera bag which is in fairly good shape, some stitches have been repaired manually.
The Flash D comes in its original box.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to write, I will gladly reply.

Merci for stopping by,
Marion
