This 1943 edition of Tristan Corbiere's poems, "Les Amours Jaunes" (The Jaundiced Loves) is No. 746 of only 1030 copies on Verge paper mills of Boucher Docelles. This edition of 301 pages was edited by Emile-Paul Freres and includes wonderful gravures by Edmund Ceria. The book is in very good condition given its vintage. Only the outside protective paper bears some tears, but the cover itself is in very good condition as is the interior of the book. Protective paper covers the beautiful gravures.

Poet Tristan Corbiere was born in 1845. "....Verlaine's recommendation was enough to get his work noticed and established him as one of the masters acknowledged by the Symbolists.
His only published verse in his lifetime appeared in Les amours jaunes, 1873. Corbière died of tuberculosis at the age of 29." (Reference:
