It sold in 1951 for 50 cents.
It's a collection of "facts" and "fiction" about the Lone Star State that was assembled by John Randolph. There are 91 illustrationd by Mark Storm.
It's both interesting and funny. It's loaded with anecdotes and tales and some really interesting little known truths about such things as all the towns in Texas with boys' and girls' names.
The book is soft covered and 64 pages long.
It measures 8 X 5 1/4 inches. It's a book that was made so it could be mailed as is. The back cover has a place for an address and a posatge stamp. Can't read the post mark but it cost three cents to mail it back when. It was sent to a Mr. Bowers in Elkhart, Indiana (no ZIP Code).
The book is in very good used condition. It's held together at its spine by two heavy staples. No loose or torn pages. The front and back covers are a bit soiled as one would expect. It's really an enjoyable read. You don't have to be a Texan to enjoy it.
The pictures that accompany this offering are of the actual book that the buyer will receive. Free mailing within the United States via Media Mail. Buyers from outside the USA contact us for a mailing cost to your Country. All Import taxes and customs fees are for the buyer's account.
