This small sterling silver clasp has a self-closing arm rather than a trigger, making it easier to open than the usual lobster clasps. Fabulous for people who have issues with manual dexterity, & even just the average person who cannot do up a bracelet without help. You apply pressure to the lower arm to open the clasp - when you remove your finger, it snaps shut. No fumbling for a tiny trigger release!

The clasp is 925 sterling silver, about 11.5 mm (less than half an inch) long. It does not include a jump ring to attach it to the necklace/chain. While it is smaller than the plated clasps I use in my disability friendly line of jewellery, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was just as easy to open. I also have a larger self-closing clasp here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/90337585/sterling-silver-clasp-self-closing

Please note this is a slightly different style from the small sterling self-closing clasp I used to use - those are no longer made, unfortunately.

You can ask me to add this type of clasp to any sterling chain or necklace you purchase from my shop, for no additional charge.
