This little bambi is a pretty, collectible piece of Lomonosov porcelain. It's in perfect condition and has a good clear stamp on the base that includes the name of the artist who hand-painted it.

The original Lomonosov factory - the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory - was founded in 1744 by the order of Empress Elizabeth to "serve native trade and native art." After the Revolution In 1925 it was given the name of the academy's founder, Mikhail Lomonosov and became known as the Leningrad Lomonosov Porcelain Factory producing a wide range of wares, including collectible animal figurines and dinner sets. Today it is known again as the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory.

The size of this piece is approximately 5"(12cm) x 3.5"(9cm) x 2.5"(7cm).
