I see this material not so much as a classic tutorial but more of a detailed documentation of my creative process on making the beautiful Café au Lait Royal dahlia.
I’ve recreated this flower many times and I’m sure you will learn something new from this material, which you can use and adapt to your own work aesthetics.
This study reveals all the steps that I take to create this beautiful flower. If you have bought some of my previous materials you will find that I use some similar techniques but with a different approach. Visit my Instagram account @christinepaperdesign (the guide/reel/IGTV section) to find some video materials on this tutorial and other “behind the scene” moments.
Content:
• Introduction
• About me
• Important tips
• Supply list
• Paper measurements
• Techniques (laminating the paper, painting with acrylics)
• Shape the petals

• Assemble the flower – finale steps

I’ve been making this flower for the past few years, so I gathered a lot of knowledge, experience and useful tricks that I decided to share with you. This course is meant to teach you the skills needed to make this flower so you can continue to explore the world of paper dahlias on your own.

To be able to make this project you have to have some experience with paper flowers and you need to purchase the supplies needed (like crepe paper, glue and acrylic colors).

The quality of my paper flowers is revealed in all the tutorials I make. The attention to detail is very important so, take advantage of this opportunity and see how I work. This material is unique, rich with information and has a lot of potential to improve your own creative process.

Such a wonderful and beautiful tutorial! I had been waiting for the launch! I learned so much and I've been making paper flowers for a while! Instructions are clear, easy to follow and the painting techniques can be applied to a number of other types of flowers too.
