RESERVED:Seahorse Pendant Brooch Natural History Museum 20.00 obo

In the 80s, at the Royal Ontario Museum or ROM, there was an exhibition celebrating the natural world and all the creatures found within. This is a souveneir from that exhibit, now an entire wing of the ROM called the Natural History Museum at the ROM.

A seahorse has been cast in a seaweed mold, capturing every nuance of the creature. Every segment, ridge and bump. An extremely realistic form, it looks as though they simply dipped a seahorse in rhodium! Golden hued rhodium plating is the main material here and it looks fantastic!

A perfect choice for anyone who loves the sea, marine life, seahorses or perhaps as a costume element for a mermaid. Measures 2" long and an inch wide. It functions as either a pin brooch or a pendant. All you need is the chain! In splendid vintage condition with a simple rollover clasp closure and a built in bail to hang from a chain.

As with ALL HipCricket vintage, if you LOVE this critter but differ at the asking, Please ~ Make Me An Offer!

REF. JA027
