Marked with the artist T. Taylor's signature, this line of mugs made by Otagiri of Japan was called "Tuskers." Remember when these wide bottomed travel mugs appeared in the 1980s? It was revolutionary!

Featuring a row of marching elephants in shades of charcoal, gray, and cream against a shiny black blackground. The glaze and design on one mug is perfect, with no damage, the other mug has one light scratch just a few very tiny nicks to the elephant image. The rest of the ceramic and black glaze is perfect, with no scratches, chips, or cracks.

The rubberized padding on the underside of each mug is incomplete as you can see in the last photo. I considered scraping it completely off before selling, but chose to leave that choice up to the buyer. Another option would be to scrape it off and replace with a thin layer of cork.

They are 4" tall, 2 1/2" wide at the mouth, and 4 1/2" wide at the base.
