From 1952 comes this vintage sewing pattern by Butterick, a "Quick and Easy" pattern for an open style swing coat and a lovely full skirt dress with little cap sleeves and a cut-out neckline. The coat can be made lined or not, and in high-fashion 50s style would look especially fantastic if you use the same fabric for the dress and coat lining.

This original vintage pattern has 13 pre-printed pieces, complete and in very good condition along with the illustrated instruction guide. There are also two additional bodice pieces cut from a July 1954 newspaper. They are each cut an inch larger, so if you need approximately a size 34 bust, they'll come in very handy.

the envelope description reads:

Butterick 6130 ©1952

size 12
30 bust, 25 waist, 33 hip

Dress and Redingote Ensemble
The perfectly simple dress with a portrait-type cut-out neckline and an easy-to-wear four-gore skirt teams with an equally simple coat...the result is a wonderfully wearable ensemble. Make the redingote coat lined or unlined.

Suggested Fabrics:
linen, piqué, crepe, shantung, taffeta, faille, lightweight wools.
