This one-of-a-kind, handmade bag will keep your (up to) 15" laptop or tablet safe and secure in the fully-padded pocket. It features one generous front cargo pocket, a front zipper pocket, a roomy main compartment, three inner elasticized pockets, and two side pockets. Carrying both your laptop and your tablet? There's a secret pocket around back that's perfect for a tablet or other important stuff.

My process is simple: I look among my fabric stash and choose either a lining fabric or an exterior fabric, and then I hunt for the most appealing match. Sometimes I start with a pattern in mind, though not always -- occasionally the exterior leads me to one form or another.

I made this particular bag while recovering from surgery. This was the first bag that I documented down to the minute on a spreadsheet, including the time I spent figuring out the custom details of this bag. According to the sheet, I spent a total of 19.48 hours over 6 days.
