I created this collage soon after I underwent electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). I'd lost my memory, my job, my home, and had to discover who I was as this "bipolar" person. What I had was gone. What was coming was unknowable. The place of "now" seemed wee and treacherous. But there were glimmers of hope and potential.

This is an 8x12 stretched canvas. Materials include paint, ink, paper ephemera, altered magazine images, fibers, charms, metal fastenings, wire, beads, jewel dots, stamps, vintage photo. Materials are adhered with Mod Podge and bookbinder's glue.
