Description

How this pattern came to be. My daughter came to me and requested that I make her a knitted wristband. I had many questions, but her answers were vague. She knew what she wanted, but not being a knitter she couldn’t really communicate her wishes to me in my language. My design, however, turned out to be just perfect. How often does that happen? I chose entrelac for the wristband thinking it would give just the right amount of dimension and interest to satisfy even the most difficult to please wearer or knitter.

A buttoned entrelac wristband in a choice of 2 weights. A real stashbuster!
 A small project jam packed full of technique. Great for learning something new. Try your hand at entrelac, short rows, picking up stitches knitwise & purlwise, a simple buttonhole, a make one increase and a slip slip knit decrease. Included in the pattern is an explanation of every technique.
 Warning! After the first one you will want to make more, they can be addictive.
 Included in the pattern are photos, a complete list of abbreviations and a stitch glossary. Experience with reading patterns is recommended.
 Advanced beginner to intermediate.
