Description

All Aboard The Cog Railway In Scenic North Conway, New Hampshire!

This awesome BIG 18 x 12" composite platter from the mid-1950s belongs in your bungalow kitchen!

Is in pre-loved condition, which means that it's been used and it's certainly not new. This big platter with it's awesome retro-graphics has seen front-line BBQ action in his day and he's no rookie to the party-scene. There are minor blemishes on both the front and and back.

Please double click any of my photos for a closer look.

"The beauty of the mountains and the thrill of ascending the Northeast's highest peak are just as enchanting today as they were in 1869, when Sylvester Marsh opened the world's first mountain-climbing railroad on New Hampshire's Mount Washington.

Nearly 150 years later, the Mount Washington Cog Railway continues to provide a sense of adventure and history as it carries passengers up a 3-mile-long trestle and the steepest railroad tracks in North America to the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington. There, visitors can take in the spectacular panoramic view, spanning the mountains and valleys of New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, north into Canada, and east to the Atlantic Ocean."

Payments

Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
We prefer PayPal as it's the fastest and safest method.
Cashier's Checks and Money Orders are okay too but only if they are received within four days of your order, otherwise we'll cancel the order and put the item back up for sale.

We BEG you guys, Please... If your Etsy Address and PayPal Addresses are different, please please let us know where you would like us to send your package. We have a real talent for choosing the wrong one.

Returns & exchanges

Returns
We are happy to accept returns in good condition in the original packaging shipped within 48 hours as exchanges only and you agree to pay postage both ways.

Damages In The US Mail.
They happen sometimes.
Although we carefully wrap our vintage breakables in tons of bubblewrap and tons of padding and pack them in sturdy shipping boxes, damages still sometimes happen. *sigh*
Please tell us about damaged goods ASAP. Photograph the damages and send photos to us so that we can work it out with USPS.

Shipping policies

We ship by way of the United States Postal Service only.
Yes, FedEx and UPS are a little bit cheaper, but we find them to be very brutal with our delicates and breakables, so we refuse to play with them.

International Orders
The answer is YES we do ship internationally. Please just ask! There are many shipping destinations on this planet and each one is a slightly different price.

Additional policies

While it is considered customary for many antique and vintage shops to consider offers and dicker prices, our shop simply doesn't.
We've priced our merchandise as fairly as humanly possible. Please don't ask us to haggle.
Thank you.
