This series of small landscape paintings is based on very quick sketches made on location. A few key aspects in an impression are noted in a matter of seconds and these little sketches serve as memory aids in studio.

This work is completed in acrylics on heavy, gessoed, acid-free, artist's paper 4.1 x 5.7 inches. The work is being sold unframed but a digital frame is shown as a framing idea. The piece is signed lightly in pencil, bottom left.

.....a cold March day with beautiful light. The orange bush seems to run down the slope.

I have been painting, showing, and selling for over 35 years. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Education.
