Westinghouse 10 Transistor Radio. This is a vintage 1960s Westinghouse model RG13S68C in Blue and Chrome. It has sleek mid century styling with a silver speaker that spans the length with a vertical light blue stripe in between the speaker and the teal blue tuning dial. The chrome front plate is a bit wider that the back of the radio which is covered in blue leather. The antennae is perfectly straight, reaches 30" high, raises and lowers easily, and swivels when fully extended.

It has three bands: AM, FM and MB (1.9 - 6 MHz). The MB column has the words "Marine" "Aircraft" "Amateur" "Mayday" and "Foreign" under the numbers. You can see what I am referring to in the last photo. There is a switch on the back for setting AM, FM, or MB. I received good reception on the FM and AM bands but I did not pick up anything on the MB. This could be due to my location.

There is an adapter outlet for earphones and an AC DC adapter. I do not have an adapter for this radio and I am not sure if one originally came with it. I believe a standard unit would work fine and could be easily found online. It takes 4 "C" batteries. One of the springs which holds the batteries in place is missing but the previous owner had 3 pennies between the end of the battery and the housing where the spring should be and it held and conducted the power current perfectly. I'll even include the batteries and pennies!

This is just an awesome little radio with great mid century modern styling. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message.

Thanks for looking
