When I found these great acrylic ornaments, the first thing I thought was, what else, I wonder if I an hang a Charlotte in that? The answer. YES! And I am in Love!

I suspended an antique Charlotte doll inside. The ornament is 3" and looks like glass, but is, as I mentioned, made of acrylic so it will not break. This is one of my smaller ornaments the larger are 4". In the bottom floats glass bugle beads, beads and sequins. It hangs from blue ribbon. She is ready to grace your Holiday tree. It is not too heavy. I have it shown on my feather tree.

*******************So What is a Frozen Charlotte You Ask?********************

Frozen Charlotte dolls are based on a poem written in 1840 by Seba Smith called, "Young Charlotte". It is somewhat a sad story, but more a story of undying love.

Many were produced in Germany and are not jointed or "frozen". The dolls I use come from Germany. The grounds of old doll factories are being excavated and many of these little dolls are being found. Buried in the ground, because they were broken or less than perfect.

I fell in love with these dolls the first time I saw them, and enjoy bringing them back to life!
