• Fired to cone 04 hardness.
• Made in the USA
• Will be shipped packaged in bubble wrap and packing peanuts and insured to ensure safe delivery.

Our bisque is poured using earthenware ceramic liquid slip. Seams are then professionally cleaned, and imperfections are removed/repaired by hand. All pieces are ready for your personal touch using the medium of your choice. Recommended finishes for Cone 04 bisque: acrylic paints, artist chalk, oil paint sticks, or low-fire underglaze/glaze – the choice is yours, let your creativity flow. If creating items for food or liquid, please follow the directions provided by your glaze manufacturer to ensure food safe precautions.

We label bisque "Rare" when the piece is being produced from a mold that is no longer in production. Over the years mold companies have come and gone. Items labeled "Rare" at GrapeVine Bisque Shop are produced from existing molds from the companies that did not sell their blanks to other manufacturers for continued production. Once the mold is worn or damaged it is retired.
