If you are looking for a cool vintage telephone, this is the phone for you.
This phone comes from the early to mid 1960's and was designed by Italian designers Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper. It's called the Grillo telephone. When closed it looks like a clamshell. The design of this phone is so chic, modern and it uses very little space. It has been said that the modern day cell phone was based on the design of this phone. The phone flips open like the modern day cell phones with a dial, mouth and ear pieces all exposed. The name Grillo translates as "cricket", which is what this phone sounds like when it rings.
