Description

This is a very rare romance novel titled Love Is Always New by Peggy Dern, 1935. This is an Arcadia House Publication, New York. From the Jacket: Recipe for romance!--A girl and a boy--a semi-tropical island at the loveliest season of the year; add a dash of temper; season with parental interference; spice with a glimpse of another romance.

Written by Peggy Dern, alias PEGGY GADDIS, PERRY LINDSAY, JOAN TUCKER, JOHN TUCKER, JOAN SHERMAN, ROBERTA COURTLAND, GEORGIA CRAIG, JAMES CLAYFORD, SYLVIA ERSKINE, CAROLINA LEE, MARTHA KNOWLES, LUTHER GORDON & GERALD FOSTER.

I found a listing of their work in her timeline of publishing, but only once and nothing on the individual book. Book shows wear and as you can see from pictures the original DJ has been glued to book. Her rare works sell for $750-$1,000 and those works are not as early as this one. Dern started writing in the 1930s and died in the 1960s. The interior is clean and binding tight. All 268 pages are clean and unmarked. Book overall is in good condition though picture cover looks a little rough or worn, but still is a very nice find!

Breaking news I am relisting this and found the following. "She wrote as both Peggy Gaddis and Peggy Dern indiscriminately, sometimes ... She also wrote “love novels,” a somewhat sleazier form of romance that was invented by the ..... Love Is Always New by
Peggy Dern. I found this in a Bibliography.

Just let the pictures and our feed back be your guide and I feel sure you won't be disappointed. International prices are just estimated as are the U.S. and will of course be adjusted just as soon as we know the destination.
