A custom portrait is an original idea to remember your pet or give him a special place in your home! It is a unique gift for an animal lover for a special friend.
Simply send your best quality front-facing photos and I'll paint them into watercolour paintings.
My portraits are traditionally Hand-painted artwork using the very best materials. I use Winsor&Newton Professional Water Colour, Derwent Studio watercolour and pencils, Winsor&Newton ink and Fabriano watercolour cold press coton paper 300 g/m2 – 140 IB.
Framing - All my watercolor custom pet portraits are provided unmounted and unframed.
If you need the frame for Your portrait or should it be sent to someone as a gift ask for it in the comments.
If the portrait is a gift, I can send it directly to the recipient's address. In this regard, with a little extra, it is possible to order the gift box and ask for the addition of a greeting card (the text must be specified in the order note).

I ask You, if it is possible, to provide a selection of some photos. The more detail in a photo the better your portrait will be. This is especially importrant for your pet's key features such as their eyes and nose. It is highly importrant that the photo is sharp and in focus.
Take the photo at eye level with your pet. The best angles are with your pet looking straight at you or with their head slightly tilted to one side looking past the camera.
The best LIGHTING for a perfect foto is natural light, preferably outdoors, but not in direct sunlight. Do not use flash. Direct sunlight and flash masks out a lot of detail, causes unnatural shadows and colours.
Sadly, I am unable to work from blurry or low resolution photos.
Before shipping you will be sent an email with a preview photo of the completed portrait, so that you can make any requests for small corrections and be able to proceed with the shipment.
It usually takes 7-14 business days to create your portrait, but sometimes it can be a little longer. The requested work will be shipped via express courier in Italy or international registered mail, for shipments abroad. Delivery times in Italy are 1 or 2 days, abroad 10 to 30 days, depending on the destination and the postal service.

I cannot overstate how amazing my experience with this shop was. My mother's dog Yuki passed away early 2022 and I ordered this as a pet memorial for her. I was originally a little scared about commissioning something like this because I didn't have very many good pictures of Yuki for reference. Dorota was able to take what little I had and create a perfect portrait of Yuki that my mother absolutely loves.

Dorota went above and beyond my expectations. (Ordered as a gift that has yet to be given, otherwise I would share a picture). I didn't have very many high quality pictures for her to go off of, but she somehow still captured them perfectly. I can't wait to have her paint our own pups in the near future.

This review is a tricky one, do you review the courier or the Seller? Seller: 10* Courier: 1* Dorota offered me this option which I took immediately. The address used and written on the parcel was 100% correct. But UPS messed up. The driver couldn't find the street but he had only to read, and then he would know he was on the wrong street. In the end, I could pick up the parcel and it arrived safe. So if you know the courier guys are not doing a good job in your neighbourhood, make sure to add an extra line with an explanation for the driver.
