Such a fun adverising piece that can be a functional piece of your decor. It's got the lid, so you can hide plenty in here and keep your shelving looking stylish.

The tin has writing on three "sides", if a cylinder can have sides. The front has a nice big and bold Morton's Fresh Potato Chips, as well as a list of ingredients. It's also labeled Dallas, Texas.

The lid itself had writing on the inside-see picture 4. It says "Please note. This can contained two pounds of chips when packed. It was full and was weighed individually. It may not appear full upon arrival to you due to the fact that potato shcips settle and nest together, and some break during shipment and handling." I do have to admit that the lid is tough to get off, a little tight. The outside of the lid had really patina-ed into a dark grey. There are two strips of thin tape that someone used to label what they were keeping inside. One piece has slid to the side and reveled the bright silver underneith. I'll leave them for you to decide what to do with them.

The tin measures approximately:
9.75" in diameter
12.5" tall

The tin is in good condition. There are dents and dings here and there, nothing major. There are some places where the writing has rubbed off-again not too bad. Good vintage condition.
