This pattern contains instructions for three projects: a uniquely designed plus quilt in baby or throw sizes, and a tote bag.

This modern quilt sews up very quickly. It is a unique shadowed design, where small plus blocks flow across one large 'shadow' plus. The quilted tote bag features nested plus blocks on one side and simple squares on the reverse side.

The baby quilt measures 36.5" x 36.5", with blocks 12" x 12" finished, while the throw quilt measures 54.5" x 54.5" with blocks 18" x 18". The quilted tote is 20.5" across the top and 16.5" in height. All projects use simple patchwork piecing. Both the quilt and the tote bag are great beginner projects because of their simple construction.
