This modern steel vase gets it's name from the series of stainless steel rods which "pierce" both sides and run through the center of the piece. The rods were designed to add contrast to the natural patina of the reddish steel while also allowing varying degrees of support for different sized flower arrangements.

An abstract sculpture for your table top when not filled with flowers.

The piece measures 5" X 5" X 14" and includes a 4" square glass vase to sit inside the bottom. The finish is a red patina which has been sealed with a bees wax and orange oil rub.

I'll be working on a few variations on this design, thus the No. 1 for this piece.
