"On a trip to Shasta take your wife and the children: Take a clear conscience and a contented mind; take a sweet temper; take your cares and bury them before you start. Take time enough to see this charming country and may you live long and prosper."

An antique booklet called "Shasta: They Keystone of Califonia Scenery" takes you on a journey from Redding, CA all the way up the Pacific Coast, pointing out the mountains, scenery and points of interests along the way.
