Whimsical remake of the famous portrait of Doña Isabel de Porcel by the Spanish artist Francisco de Goya. In the original the sitter was 25 y/o and her pose showed confidence, which can be expected of a woman surrounded by powerful people. But even for women of nobility it was hard to have full control of their own life.
In my remake her age is 15 y/o - wide-eyed and full of expectations - and I let her hold her own remote control, which makes her more in control.
