Antique Edwardian English sterling silver watch fob medal pendant that was made by Albert Sydenham in Birmingham, England in 1902. The fob is double sided with 9kt (9ct) rose gold filled shield at front and silver shield at back. Both shields are raised slightly and have been inscribed. It features decorative openwork thistle flower design.

It is fully British hallmarked at back: ‘AS’ (maker’s mark for Albert Sydenham), anchor (for Birmingham Assay Office), lion passant (for sterling silver) and date mark ‘c’ (for year 1902). Registered number: RD400716.
Gold shield at front is marked: 9C
Note: Jump ring attached to the fob is silver tone metal, not sterling.

Approx. measurements:
1-5/8” (4.1cm) high without including jump ring x 1-3/16” (3cm) at the widest point
Weight – 13.2 grams (0.47 oz)
