In 2002, the USPS issued its 50 state collection "Greetings from . . . ." These stamps were designed to look like the large print post cards of the 1940's and 1950's. When issued these stamps were 34c. Later that year they were reissued at 37c when postal rates increased.

Depending on availability, you will receive a 34c or 37c stamp. Please indicate what color frame you prefer: walnut, black, or white. All frames are 4.75 by 3.75 inches.

A bit more history: The United States Post Office issued its first stamp on July 1, 1847. Since that time, over 5000 stamps have been released. Each stamp is given its own identification number called a Scott Number. These stamps have been designated as Scott Numbers 3593 and 3728.
