This is an unused color photo postcard from "Seattle's world famous and distinguished Japanese restaurant," Bush Garden. There's no date given, but it looks to be from the 1950s or possibly 1960s. The photographer is identified on the card as Walt Scarff.

The front has a colorful photo of a small group of women seated at a table, enjoying a meal or possibly a tea service. The decor includes lanterns, paper screens, and (my favorite!) a white ceramic cat with black spots in the background. To the left of the photo, there's text printed in both Japanese and English.

The card is in good condition with a slight bend in the upper left corner.

If you're a collector of vintage Seattle ephemera, this could be a unique addition to your collection.

If only restaurants today gave out cool postcards like this!
