This laser cut jigsaw puzzle features pieces that make up a Sumerian Cuneiform Tablet from ancient Mesopotamia. The jigaw is double-sided and features a complete cuneiform inscription from the king Gudea, who ruled the southern Babylonian city of Lagash c. 2144 BCE. It's the perfect gift for the history nerd in your life (or for yourself, if you identify as a history nerd!).

The inscription translates as follows:
For Bau, the good one, child of An, lady of the pure city, his lady, Gudea, ruler of Lagash, the one who built the Eninnu of Ningursu, his PA-house, house of the seven corners, built her house of the pure city.
For extra history-nerd points, the puzzle is flipped top-to-bottom, in the same way that the original tablet has to be flipped in order to read both sides. This double-sided puzzle a little on the tricky side as you have to not only work out where in the jigsaw each piece goes, but what side of the piece you need!
