WHAT IS A HYDROSOL?

When rose petals are steam distilled, in order to produce rose essential oil, the water that remains, becomes Rose Hydrosol, also known as Rose Water.

PLEASE NOTE: Some companies are selling Rose Water cheaply, but it is plain tap water with a few drops of rose fragrance oil, or a few drops of rose essential oil. (This is not a true rose hydrosol, and will have none of the properties needed.)

Hydrosols retain a small amount of essential oil compounds, with nutritious minerals, fatty acids, and a vast variety of natural plant bio-actives.

Hydrosols can be seen as micro-doses of essential oils, but unlike essential oils, they have no precautions, when applied to the skin.

Rose Hydrosol is extremely calming. It reduces and cools eye puffiness (use it as a cotton pad compress).

Rose Hydrosol is steam distilled from rose petals, so it is naturally softening and hydrating for mature or dry facial skin, but can be used for any skin type.

Rose Water calms breakouts of many kinds.

Rose Water helps to refine pore size, while refining the texture of the skin.

Rose Hydrosol is commonly used as a toner for all skins. It is 100% non-drying, so any skin type may use it.

Rose water is a wonderful natural makeup remover. Apply Rose Water on a cotton pad, and gently remove your makeup.

After cleansing the face, use Rose Water on a cotton round, to remove the last traces of cleanser and dirt.

As an after-shave spritzer, Rose Water is soothing.
