Materials: Vintage book, clothbound hardcover
Jane Eyre book by Charlotte Bronte. Not dated but very much of the 1930s and certainly pre-war.
PLEASE NOTE that this is rather worn at the spine - particularly the ends and there are marks to the front board cloth. Inside both hinges are cracked, they wobble and show the webbing. There are a few pale brown marks inside
I always thought the bit where she stumbles into the life of her cousins a leap of the imagination too far but it is still a good read!
The portrait of the author that is the frontispiece seems rather cruel for someone who did not reach 40.
About 5 x 7.5 inches or 125 x 190 with 476 pages. The boards have an impressed pattern of wiggly lines.

I am absolutely gobsmacked when I receive the book. It is utterly AMAZING! It came quickly, and it was immaculate condition! You can tell when a collector really cares for their books, it didn’t have any stains, or smells or anything! It look amazing with my King Arthur books & so rare books by Plutarch . I will MOST Definitely be coming back to ‘raid’ her library of treasures❣️ The price was so affordable. What more can a collector ask for? Perhaps live right down the street from me 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😉❣️❣️
