The tulip is the ultimate Valentine flower, the un-Cupid heart for people who have sentiments but like to spell them out on their own. The original artwork is created from a blend of my own photography and painting on Venetian plaster, and printed by me in my studio on fine rag paper with archival inks. This heavyweight 100 lb. paper has a unique soft texture ideal both for fine art printing and for writing with pencil or pen. These cards are gorgeous, the blue and gold color palette is sensuous and sophisticated. It's clear Iskra attention to detail and quality is top notch. I appreciate that these are printed to fine art "giclee" standards on art paper. Now, hmm, who will be the lucky recipients of these cards, and what stamps should I use?

Not only were the cards gorgeous and of higher quality than I expected, Iskra added many little touches to the packaging of this order that made the experience of opening it a treat for me, before even beginning to write on the cards. Her art and design sensibility complement one another, and clearly go hand and hand with her professionalism and attention to customer delight. I look forward to needing more cards, and to giving my friends the same pleasure I myself enjoyed in opening my package from her. Every bit as nice as shopping at some boutique for cards, yet more heartwarmingly personal and human. And the prints themselves are magic!
