5 out of 5 starsThis is a fun and quick project! Instead of leaving a loop to hang them, I made a knot at the base and tucked the loop into the acorn which creates a little nubbin, as I'm planning on a bowl full of them.

so excited to make these! I was hoping to complete to decorate my tree with them, but, my crafty nature took over and took on too many projects! great pattern though!

I modified this pattern some, using different yarns and piecing rather than using the three needles. My family loved their little "acorn" ornaments for their trees.

Instant download. It's an easy to follow pattern and my acorn looks like the one on the pattern. I used smaller needles and 4 ply wool for a smaller acorn. I am going to make a selection in different colours as tree hangers and to put on presents. Lovely!
