This pendant has two usable sides of the pentagram comes with a leather cord. The pentagram is a symbol calling for power from the earth and is not evil nor demonic. This idea of being evil largely came from Christianity that made evil all things not Christian. The upside down sign is not evil either but instead referring to the Celtic Horned God Cernenos (the only known thing about this god is an association with fertility) who had horns and resembled the christian ideal of Satan.

The Tree of Life is the symbol for the three layers of reality from the religions of the Maya, Celts, and Vikings. The three layers in viking are of the Yggdrasil and include Osguard (upper layer), This world, and underworld including Niflheim (the hall of the dark elves including Loki and Hel, his daughter).

Then there is in Maya mythology the tree of life is the Ceiba Tree and grows next to water there is the land of the gods and the dead but to get there they must travel through the watery underworld where all the gods of disease and death exist. In fact many of the gods of myth are humans who traveled to the underworld and tricked the gods down there. The trunk is this realm of humans and has a spiny surface like our mountains.

Lastly the Celtic religion that most know this to be of connect the three realms of reality Annwyn the lower realm, earth, and Ceugant the upper realm.

The pendant is about an inch in diameter.
