Introductory box to the Chinese art of incense including:
- A phoenix and dragon incense burner
- A packet of rice straw ashes
- A spoon to pack the ashes
- A seal of incense to choose in the variations (the price of the seal of incense of the variations already includes the price of the total box)
- A packet of 5 grams of Santal-champaka incense

Chinese type brass incense burner, openwork lid with traditional dragon and phoenix motifs.
This incense burner is ideal for practicing the art of ash bed incense or for sticks but is not suitable for burning charcoal incense.
The size and diameter of this incense burner have been chosen large enough to accommodate incense seals, which constitute the ancient art of incense among the Chinese and Japanese.

Use: Put ashes at the bottom of the incense burner and pack it down with the spoon in order to have a flat surface.
Gently place the incense seal you have chosen in the center of the ashes and gently but generously spread the champaka sandalwood incense powder (or another Asian type intended for this) in the holes of the seal. When everything seems well filled, lift the seal and discover the drawing (as in the video).
Light the tip of the design made by sandalwood powder with a long lighter or a match and watch the design come alive with fire as it releases its delicate fragrance.

To watch the drawing unfold, do not put the lid on, but to simply burn an incense without an image, you can put it on and watch the smoke rise from it.
The art of incense is associated with Taoist and Buddhist practices, in which the smoke of incense recalls the ceaseless movement of water - and of life. It was and still is practiced during meditation and during intellectual work.
