Sterling silver parts are plated with rhodium or 24K gold so they don't tarnish and they are more resistant to shocks and distortions. Even the dark parts are plated with black rhodium. This way the need for constant maintenance and polishing is eliminated.

My jewelry is made of solid 925 sterling silver and is nickel free!

Although there are some people who are allergic to silver, most allergy sensitive people are not allergic to sterling silver because it is an almost pure metal made from 92.5% silver and 7.5% of other metals like zinc or copper and it does not contain nickel, the most common source of allergies.

Whenever the design and the manufacturing conditions of a jewel allow it, I plate all the sterling silver parts with rhodium, 24k yellow gold or 18K rose gold, so as to not tarnish and to be more resistant to shocks and distortions.💪 I even plate the dark parts with black rhodium. This way the need for constant maintenance and polishing is eliminated. However, it is always good that you regularly take care of your jewels.

OH, MY GOD!!!! What a ring. Spectacular design. Sits perfectly on my finger and the gold and silver combination can be worn with a mix of other gold and silver jewelry that I already own. The quality is a ten, the weight is a ten and the design is a ten. This ring is just as fun and satisfying as the flower/petal ring I purchased last year. I am looking forward to more purchases from this very creative designer. Delivery was quick!!!
