In AGED BRONZE - a process at our foundry that speeds up the darkening of the patina.
Figurine has a dark patina which darkens further over time as the bronze ages.
All bronze darkens as it ages - think of the dark statues in the park.
The very dark figurines in the photos have darkened for over a year.
The last photo is the difference between golden and darkened bronze.
All figurines have slight variations as they are all hand made and cast.
Each is one of a kind.

It’s a wonderful feeling to be holding a piece of my childhood in my hand…this little Arabian horse statue from the movie. Talk about nostalgia. It’s not for me though— I am gifting it to my mom who is putting her 28 year old Arabian mare to sleep in a few days. Iko was born to our very first horse and has been with my mom since the day she was born- her very own Drinker of the Wind. Mom introduced me to The Black Stallion movie when I was 4. It’s the first movie I remember and it captivated me. While my cousins and friends were watching cartoons, I was mesmerized by the beauty and poetry of TBS. To this day, when I need a quiet day to myself to calm the chaos within, I watch The Black Stallion. It takes me back to when I was 4 and had not a care in the world. I hope to purchase on for myself, but this one is for my Mom.

I can’t believe I finally found this little horse! I have looked for years trying to find something similar to this little figurine from the movie The Black Stallion, and here it is! I must’ve watched that scene with Alec and the Black on the beach 100 times as a little girl…thank you so much for recreating this lovely piece of cinematic childhood memory ☺️
