I can’t begin to express how much I LOVE Jocelyn’s maps, she is so amazingly talented & her customer service is exceptional! I 1st came across her work looking on Etsy for a very specific type of watercolor map of where we were getting married for our wedding to use in place of a guestbook. Jocelyn’s work was exactly what we were looking for! Her customer service is fantastic & her work is stunningly beautiful. The map is now framed at the bottom of our stairs, so we can admire it every day, it is easily one of our most treasured mementos from our wedding. So this summer when my best friend was getting married, I knew exactly what we would be getting them for their wedding gift, a Jocelyn map. Again she hand painted a gorgeous map w/impeccable customer service. It was the beautifully perfect present. THANK YOU SO MUCH JOCELYN!!!

While this is a gorgeous watercolor, it is not 8x10, as stated. It is 9x11.5, which will make framing a challenge. I would not have ordered this had I known it was not a standard size. Now I'm faced with either cropping it to fit an 8x10 frame, or spend money on a custom frame. It was purchased to go alongside a similar watercolor, but now this won't work.

Printers usually leave extra white space around a professional print as a courtesy-- most folks need a little extra custom space to fit without cracks under a mat, but still be able to cut it down to fit a standard unmatted frame just the way they want. Because you can always cut down but you can't cut up. Hope that helps! -- J
