Issue #23 comes in a cozy orange front and back cover. As elsewhere in this thick little booklet, the back cover is filled with vintage movie ads from long ago Drive-In's. I'd love to have pulled into the TWIN 1 2 3 in MILW to spend the night watching epics like Sex Education followed by Cemetery Girls and capped off with Grave Desires. Or the Family Drive-In Theatre showing their 'Orgy of Terror!', beginning with 'A blood pscho (sic) gone beserk' in "Three on a Meathook", plus '2 More Thrillers'-"Mark of the Witch" and "Asylum of Satan". Children Free! Oh, how I miss Drive-In's. But issue #23 is also filled with movie reviews (predominantly from the 1970's) and essays like the lovely Grindhouse Memories Across the USA and my favorite entry in this issue where Sam Panico talks about the syndicated package, Nightmare Theatre.

Each issue just keeps getting better. Excellent interviews, and photos from the glory days of drive-in cinema. It is a movie-hound's dream come true!!

If you were a kid, watching horror films at the drive in, the theater, late night TV, or the early days of cable TV - then this awesome publication is for you! The interviews, the articles, and the great horror movie ad newspaper clippings from days gone by are to die for. Don't miss out - buy this issue and all the others that you can get your bony hands on - because you're going to want every single one. (Thank you so much Bill, for your hard work and dedication!) - Mike M.

The best in-print weird film 'zine still going! Full of hard-hitting interviews and lots of fun info to my jaded, seen-it-all eyes.

Response from Bill

Thanks so much! We like high-profile movies too, but the obscure weird stuff is what haunts us forever!
