Introducing the first two cards in The Windflower Suite:
Victorian Anemone & Anemone in the Field
“Anemone” means “The Wind’s Daughter” in Greek, and the Anemone appears in many myths of love, loss and spring’s renewal. The flowers featured in these cards are grown in my garden or the woods nearby. The original artwork is created from a blend of my own photography and painting and printed by me in my studio on fine Moab Entrada Rag paper. This heavyweight 100% paper has a unique soft texture ideal both for fine art printing and for writing with pencil or pen. The cards are printed with archival inks and are suitable for framing. Larger limited edition prints of these artworks are available in my shop, links below.
Available in sets of 6:
a set of 6 cards with the same image
a set of 6 cards with 3 of each image
One set includes 6 cards with 6 envelopes
“Victorian Anemone” is a single stem flower with gold border; “Anemone in the Field” is many blossoms on a blue green background.
Each card is individually wrapped with its envelope in a clear cello bag ideal for giving as gifts. Cards fold to 5x7 inches to fit an A7 envelope, a generous size offering room to write a letter or a brief note as you choose.

These cards are gorgeous, the blue and gold color palette is sensuous and sophisticated. It's clear Iskra attention to detail and quality is top notch. I appreciate that these are printed to fine art "giclee" standards on art paper. Now, hmm, who will be the lucky recipients of these cards, and what stamps should I use?

These gorgeous images are printed on heavy quality paper. The cards arrive beautifully presented and hand packaged like a present. They’re small works of fine art and would make a great gift if you can stand parting with them! I’ll need to buy more sets - some to keep and some for gifting. Highly recommended!

Iskra has an extraordinary and deeply, beautifully imaginative way of looking at--and recreating--the world....she's an artist, through and through.
